Having studied RF electronics, I wanted to look into the effects of cable
termination on audio signals. I decided that my circuit should run from a 12
volt source, and should pass CD's 2 volts unscathed. The below circuit does just
this. I spent a long time comparing it with all the interconnects I could find.
I thought it sounded a little better but I wasn't sure. It ought to be worse,
substituting all that stuff for a wire... I gave the circuit the benefit of the
doubt, as its gross inefficiency and over kill nature appealed to me, and left
it in my set-up.
